Our favorite Movie Theater,and has been given the highest theater rating in the Triangle by the N&O, we\'ve been loving it since 1993. Their logo says it all Great Movies, Food and Spirits. You owe it to yourself to visit www.raleighwood movies.com and to go to Raleighwood We also enjoy their Monday Night Football and they host the best Superbowl Party in the Triangle. Seating is at tables and counters in high back leather chairs. They have terrific waiters and we love the food. It\'s so much more fun than going to some chain multiplex full of high school kids!

We were so excited to find out about this place on the Internet. We figured our 3 year old son would finally enjoy a movie if he had a meal along with it. Unfortunately we didn't know that this place catered mainly to birthday parties. As per the web site's advice, we arrived early to make sure we got tickets. When they opened the doors 30 minutes before showtime, we had already been waiting 30 minutes to get in. They started seating the birthday party guests and didn't really care about the handful of people who had purchased tickets but weren't with a birthday party. Finally they told us to go in but only the very front row of the theater was available, because all of the other seats had been given to the party guests. We also noticed that all of the party guests already had popcorn and drinks. We waited another 20 minutes and weren't even brought our drinks yet. We decided to get our money refunded and leave.

I would only recommend this to people who want to have their kids' birthday party there...it seems they do a good job with that. But if you're a regular patron, stay away. You will be summarily ignored and relegated to the worse seats.
